Hi Rovio AdMon Team,

Great advertising monetization in mobile gaming requires a perfect balance of deep data analysis and creative problem-solving. As a Master's student in Digital Marketing and Analytics at the University of Eastern Finland, I thrive at exactly this intersection.

To demonstrate my approach, I have built a strategic Cross-Promotion AdMon Funnel (Angry Birds 2 x Sonic Blitz), which you can explore on the next page.

When I saw your opening for the AdMon Intern role, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to bring my skills to the SEGA family and help craft joy for millions of players. Here is how my background aligns with your needs for Summer 2026:

  • Data-Driven Mindset: My Master's studies and Bachelor's in Marketing & Management have given me a strong quantitative foundation. I am highly comfortable diving into datasets using Excel and analytics tools to find key insights. Although I am new to SQL, my highly adaptive nature ensures I will pick it up quickly.
  • Creative Mock-ups & AI Efficiency: I don't just crunch numbers; I can visualize solutions. With my strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and video creation, conceptualizing and designing ad placement mock-ups comes naturally to me. I also actively leverage AI tools (such as various LLMs, Higgsfield AI, and vibe coding) to streamline creative processes and build high-quality assets—just like the ones in the project on the following pages.
  • Ad Ecosystems & Organization: Thanks to my digital marketing studies and interest in SEO, I have a solid understanding of digital ad networks. Additionally, my versatile work experience has equipped me with strong project management skills and the ability to communicate smoothly across different teams.

I am highly organized, proactive, and always eager to learn new tools quickly. I am fully prepared to start in May 2026 and work in the hybrid model at your Espoo HQ.

Angry Birds – Loss Aversion
Step 1 of 3

Loss Aversion & Engagement

We leverage the player's natural desire to avoid losing their progress. By offering a rewarded video ad at the most critical pain point—right as the level is about to end in failure—we maximize the opt-in rate. This strategic placement ensures that the player is highly motivated to engage with the ad to save their progress.

STRATEGY
Placement at peak emotional engagement to maximize opt-in rates
Volume
Step 2 of 3

Maintaining High Interest

The seamless visual transition from the Angry Birds environment to the Sonic universe acts as a powerful routine breaker. This high-energy character showcase is designed to immediately grab attention and sustain engagement. Our goal is to maximize the video completion rate by providing high-quality, relevant content.

TARGET METRIC
Aiming for high VCR (Video Completion Rate) via routine-breaking visuals
End Frame Mockup
Step 3 of 3

A Fair Value Exchange

This final frame represents a perfect win-win scenario. The player receives an immediate reward to continue their session, while we drive high-intent pre-registrations for the new Sonic title. This approach significantly lowers user acquisition costs by successfully cross-promoting to our loyal existing player base.

ROI ANALYSIS
Reducing CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) by leveraging internal traffic

Let's optimize together!

Thank you for exploring my AdMon cross-promotion strategy. I am eager to bring this blend of analytical thinking and creative execution to the Rovio team this summer.
